§ 909.01. When abutting owners to construct.

Every property owner owning property abutting upon any street upon which the curb has been placed in front of or alongside of his property, and every agent having charge of any such property for a nonresident property owner, shall cause the sidewalk abutting thereon to be laid according to the rules, regulations and specifications adopted or prescribed by Council, and within 30 days after the completion of such curb. In cases where the street has recently been or is being paved, Council may extend the time within which the sidewalk shall be paved for a period not exceeding 60 days after the completion of the paving of the roadway.
