§ 115.11. Legislative investigations.

Whenever by majority vote the Council deems it necessary and proper to exercise its authority pursuant to W. Va. Code §§ 8-12-2(c) and 8-12-5(48) to inquire into and investigate any matter or matters of concern to the City or its inhabitants, it shall, by adoption of formal resolution generally describing the matter or matters to be investigated, commence a legislative investigation.
