§ 161.08. Warrants; by whom issued.

(a)

The Mayor, Municipal Judge or Magistrate Judge shall each have the authority to administer oaths to complainants and to issue arrest warrants thereon for violations of municipal ordinances and the municipal codes.

(b)

The City Recorder in the absence of the Mayor or Municipal Judge shall have authority to issue warrants for all offenses committed within the Police jurisdiction of the City.
