§ 1705.01. Intent.

The intent of this Article is to:
(1)

Promote the general health, welfare and safety of the community;

(2)

Provide building construction guidelines to comply with the West Virginia State Fire Commission;

(3)

Encourage the utilization of appropriate construction practices to minimize flood damage in the future;

(4)

Minimize danger to public health by protecting water supply and natural drainage.
