§ 133.02. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this Article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
(a)

Police Department includes the Chief of Police and all police officers and administrative staff employed by the City.

(b)

Chief of Police means the supervisor in charge, appointed by the Mayor, of all employees and activities of the Police Department.

(c)

Patrol officers means the employees of the Police Department responsible for going the rounds within the City boundaries in an effort to maintain proper security for all persons.
