§ 361.14. Backing to curb to load or unload; permits.

  • (a)

    No owner of any vehicle used for the transportation of merchandise or materials shall back into the curb to take or discharge loads, in places where and at hours when stopping for the purpose of loading and unloading of merchandise and materials is permitted, unless such owner holds a permit from the Chief of Police granting him such loading privilege.

    (b)

    No owner or driver of a vehicle backed against the curb to take on or discharge a load shall fail to have his loading permit in his possession or on his vehicle.
