§ 1507.03. Gasoline storage; kerosene and coal oil.

  • (a)

    Gasoline storage. No person shall keep in or about his premises more than ten gallons of flammable liquids. Any flammable liquids so kept shall be kept in a closed container and away from heat, fires, flames and rubbish. No person or persons may sell, buy or store gasoline in glass containers.

    (b)

    Kerosene and coal oil storage. No merchant shall keep kerosene or coal oil in a quantity greater than 125 gallons. This quantity or less may be kept only when stored in closed steel tanks or barrels in good leakproof condition. One foam fire extinguisher of half-gallon size for each tank or barrel used for the storage of flammable liquids shall be provided and in place ready for use at all times.
